Love, Joy, Peace...
I Care, Inc. Community Food Pantry
In collaboration with four local community churches, our food pantry operates with a single purpose: to provide essential sustenance to those facing food insecurity. The generous support of the Highland Park United Methodist Church allows us to allocate nearly all donations directly toward food supplies. Our dedicated volunteers representing Berryton UMC, Highland Park UMC, Shawnee Heights UMC, and Southern Hills Mennonite Church work tirelessly to pick up food, stock shelves, and distribute food boxes.

Meals on Wheels Dining Facility

Location: Highland Park United Methodist Church

Highland Park UMC proudly partners with Midland Care to host a Meals on Wheels Dining Facility, serving older adults in our community—especially those facing social or economic challenges.

Who We Serve

Nutrition services are available to individuals aged 60 and older, with a special focus on those who are homebound, isolated, or in greatest social and economic need, including low-income minorities.

Why Nutritious Meals Matter

  • Independence: Meals support individuals in staying independent at home by promoting daily wellness.
  • Health Management: Special diets are available for those managing diabetes, heart disease, kidney conditions, or swallowing difficulties.
  • Hospitalization Prevention: Proper nutrition helps reduce health risks and avoid unnecessary hospital stays.
  • Safety & Care: Volunteers deliver meals with care, offering wellness checks and reporting any concerns to ensure recipients’ safety.

This ministry reflects our church’s commitment to compassion, dignity, and community care.
